Thai Basil chicken stir-fry

The primary ingredients are chicken, red pepper and basil. However, the sauce flavoring is a combination of oyster sauce, fish sauce and soy sauce. Generally, I try to keep the salt content of my dinners low, so I used light soy sauce. Additionally, the fish sauce is only used in trace amounts, but it greatly enhances the flavor. A chili garlic paste is also added to increase the flavor of the dish. The main ingredients are stir fried together in a mixture of garlic and canola oil, and then served over a bed of Shanghai noodles (Chinese style flour noodles), which can be found in Asian grocery stores. Since the main dish included protein, vegetable and starch, I chose not to include a separate side dish with the meal. For dessert, I had coffee ice cream with dark chocolate chips.
