As I review my day I am now glad that I have taken a break from the hectic pace of my day to reflect on the day’s events. A day which at first seemed full of endless frustration, at a closer later glance now appears to have been productive in ways that I did not originally see. Actions I have taken today, that to me seemed ordinary and routine, brought smiles and expressions of appreciation from four other people who I met within the course of my travels today. I was able to provide two persons with important information relative to projects they were working on, thus keeping them from avoiding what would have been catastrophic mistakes. Two others I talked with in passing later e-mailed me and let me know how much they appreciated the words we exchanged. To positively reach four persons in the course of a day must be counted as a productive day in my life; a surprising revelation that I did not realize before writing this short passage.
