Two kittens suddenly showed up at my house less than a week ago. One is black and the other orange. They were hiding in the bushes when I drove past. I walked down the street towards the bush I saw them in, expecting not to see them, since the last kittens around here were wild and wary of humans. These jumped out at me and rubbed against me. They are so small. They can’t weigh more than 3 to 5 pounds each. Someone abandoned them here. I had to leave with my friend’s family on Saturday to go to the beach. It’s really nice to be here, even if I’m not such a beach type of person. I actually got a tan, and a burn, because I had a major case of hubris. I thought it’d be okay not to put on any sun block at all. And then for a while, I thought I was okay. No burn… until I tried to lie down. My shoulder blades are in awful shape. At least I’m not peeling, right?
