New Years Eve 2010

January 27th, 2011

As I sit here writing this, I am thinking about everything I need to do still before heading out to celebrate the New Year, there are lots of things on my list. I still need to shower and pack as I anticipate not being home for a few days. I can expect to probably drink whiskey and watch the fireworks happen over the space needle on a big projector screen at my friend’s house. That is the plan, anyway. My friends are very spontaneous though, so really, anything could happen. We could end up meeting random people on the street and start busking or we could simply sit around the house and jam with guitars and drums. I can’t wait to find out!

If I could chose to take two people with me on vacation. I would pick my two friends, Rich and Chris Wurden. They are brothers and they’re very close. Rich is my age, 23. Chris is a year younger. Although I haven’t known them for long, every time I hang out with them, I can expect to have a good time. We all love to snowboard. I would go on a vacation with them to the Swiss Alps. What a dream that would be! I can imagine lots of laughter and good times, inside jokes. These two feel as if I’ve known them for years and I can foresee us staying good friends for many years to come.

Caring for Dogs

January 22nd, 2011

You should choose the best dog for you and your family. Consider the way your kids play, If they are rough you should not get a dog that is liable to bite them if they hurt it. Consider If you are looking for protection or companionship. You would not get a Chihuahua if you are looking for protection. To care for dogs you must feed them, walk them, love them, don’t forget to put a dog collar on them with an id tag. You should make sure they have all of their shots! And train them not to go to the bathroom inside. Small dogs and even some big dogs look really cute if you dress them in cute little dresses and shirts. If it gets too cold buy them a little doggie jacket that they can wear.

Christmas was Stress Free

January 20th, 2011

I liked that this holiday season, Christmas was very low-stress for me. There were no big family duels and everyone was at least amicable. It almost seemed as if the holidays crept right past me. I was able to avoid listening to Christmas music for the most part, which made me happy. I consider Christmas music to be worse than modern country or thug rap style top 40 hip hop. I would rather my ears bleed for hours on end than be subjected to Christmas music for the same amount of time. I hate it, because it is so over played in restaurants, grocery stores and the like.
