I just love to watch Jeopardy, and I rarely miss an episode. It seems like Alec Trebec might be getting just the slightest bit senile, but he is still a great host and very amusing. Usually, my husband and I are engaged in a battle to see who will answer the most questions correctly. It is usually close, and the winner in our house changes from night to night. I feel like I get smarter every time I watch it, and I like to improve my brain power. Maybe one day I will be able to go on Jeopardy and win a pile of money. Wouldn’t that be great?!

Train Your Brain
April 29th, 2010My Prestigious City
April 27th, 2010I am living in Coimbatore, India which is popularly called as the Manchester of Tamilnadu. The prime specialty of this city is the concentration of industries around it. This city is fully packed with various industries like textiles, electronics and mechanical engineering. Especially, one can find big textile giants populated around the city. With the help of Indian government’s infrastructural developments, the city is now getting populated with more IT companies like Cognizant. Future plans are under progress for giants like Infosys, TCS etc to establish a branch here in Coimbatore. One more notable thing in Coimbatore is the picnic spots surrounded. From Coimbatore, one can easily reach to hill spots like Ooty and Kodaikkanal. One can enjoy the extremely pleasant climate here in Coimbatore since the city is surrounded by hills and fertile areas. Public transportation systems like Roadways, Railways and Airways are conveniently available in Coimbatore. One can get direct flights to Coimbatore Airport from various important locations all over the world.
Busy, Busy Week

All things considered, I have had a very successful past seven days. It has been exhausting physically, but very satisfying as well. Finally, after several weekends of hard work, my husband and I have completed repainting our living room, dining room and hallway, a project which included moving several very large and heavy items of furniture. We took the opportunity to rearrange the furniture and to relocate a lot of our decorative items. In addition, some friends of mine and I succeeded in launching a website together. This too was the culmination of several months of work, and many sessions of instant message conferences, but it was a lot of fun, and the so far positive reactions of people have made it very much worthwhile. My job’s been busy as well, but it’s only part time, and I enjoy the physical labor involved, as well as the pleasant interaction with customers. Overall a very successful week.
It is not a regular day
April 18th, 2010The day is almost fine with all features and I feel very delighted as I have jut received my increment perks which was long pending for long hours. Better day indeed as my wife turns with all affection today morning after having quarrel for the past few days. These factors are all fine and exemplary with all features which I was expecting daily. The latest film that was released which is my favorite hero’s one is screened in my TV; I had a great time in watching that film with my wife today morning as I had been free from the office hours. Even though I was relieved from the office hours I had phone calls often form there with lot of inquiries. Anyway the day had gone with all nice news and nice features with out any mishap like last week and I was happy about that, and the same I expect ever.

Pot Roast Heaven
April 15th, 2010There are very few dinners that I enjoy more than a good pot roast dinner. It was cooked just right where the meat was very tender and the potatoes and carrots had great flavor. There was also corn, but that was of no real importance compared to the delicious beef pot roast. I had wished that regular carrots were used instead of baby carrots because regular carrots have the skin that absorbs the beef flavor and seasoning and is very delicious. The baby carrots absorbed some flavor, but not near as much as regular carrots would have. I really wish I was having this for dinner again tonight, but it is limited to peanut butter and crackers tonight. What a big difference. Despite this, I am looking forward to the next time I get to enjoy more pot roast. Hopefully I will have purchased some real carrots to make the meal better, as well as some gravy.
No One Can Tell the Difference

I had shopping to do today and it is going to be over 100F, so my clothes have to be as lightweight and cool as possible. I wore a very “breezy” light brown flutter top with a pretty embroidered neckline and a skirt. I use it as a skirt but it’s really a sarong; one of those things you wrap around yourself to wear over a bathing suit. Since I don’t have a bathing suit and the fabric is thick enough so it can’t be seen through, I wear it as a skirt instead. It just looks like a wrap around skirt to the average person. Sooner or later though I will come across someone who knows it’s a sarong. If I’m lucky they will just tease me about it and not announce it to the world, or the other people shopping!

Matching dog clothes
April 13th, 2010
We are added two dogs to our family this weekend. But this will not be a typical mix. I currently have a German shepherd and my brother is getting two dachshunds. These are two very different breeds of dogs. Perhaps putting matching dog clothes on the dogs will make them seem more like a family. I’m sure the dogs know that they look different and are very different in size, but it shouldn’t stop them from being friends. Most people don’t dress large dogs, so I might just get matching bandanas for the three dogs. They will look more like a family this way and serve as a sign that they belong together. It may seem silly, but the dogs will be together for many years and will learn to be a pack together. Check out this article on outdoor dog gates and its uses.
Salt-water Fishing
April 5th, 2010Last weekend, my husband and I decided that we would like to go out in our salt-water fishing boat. We love to go shark fishing, and the weather hadn’t been favorable in quite some time, so we were pumped about finally getting to go offshore. We had been watching the weather, and the tropical depression was well up the coast, so we felt safe. Boy were we wrong! When we got out about two miles, the waves started getting pretty rough. We’d been out in water like this before so we were not scared, just being cautious – so we decided to throw anchor and fish. Right when we cast out, we were getting hits like crazy. The shark was biting like we had never seen before. In Georgia, we have a new law and can only keep one small breed shark and one large breed, so you have to be careful about what to keep. We finally landed the largest shark we had ever caught. After fighting it about thirty minutes, we pulled in a six foot blacktip. What a weekend!
The Citrus City
April 1st, 2010

I live in what used to be a small citrus town called Clermont. This city/town went from being covered in orange groves, to being covered in homes and stores. My city just got its first movie theatre, after 4 years of planning to build it; it’s finally finished and is amazing. Because Clermont is kind of a small town everyone knows everyone, and everyone knows your business. You go to college with the same people as you went to middle and high school with (which gets really annoying), this doesn’t give you much room to grow and change as a person as these people have already made their judgments about you. I like living here because my family and friends are here, and this is the only place I really know, I’m comfortable here because I’ve lived here for so long. There are many aspects of living in this town/city that I hate, but I really wouldn’t change anything.
